A microprocessor senses the type of battery installed and controls the rate of charge accordingly. Will charge non-IMPRES batteries too.

Batteries can be charged while on the radio or stand alone. The radio can be operated while in the charger and this unit is PAC RT compatible. The vehicular charger consists of a console, mounting hardware, and power cable.

The WPLN4208 vehicular charger supports NiCd, NiMH, and Li-ion batteries
